Further afield, lose yourself in the open moorland, granite tors and wooded valleys of Dartmoor National Park (10 miles), or visit the UK’s largest aquarium in Plymouth (15 miles). The south and north Cornish coasts and beaches are within easy reach, including many scenic coves and picturesque fishing villages such as Mevagissey, Looe and Polperro along with the rugged coastlines of Bude, Boscastle and Tintagel.
