Convenient, low cost accommodation for short stay in Vancouver.

Convenient for both airport and train to centre of Vancouver. Shuttle to airport and breakfast provided. Able to leave luggage at hotel until evening flight

Slightly 'tired' in decor. Breakfast choices limited and cooked food was not very tasty.

Clean, spacious and well-connected hotel near the airport

Easy to reach from the airport (by shuttle or by train) and easy to travel to the city (a 10-min walk to the train station and then a 25-ride to waterfront, the trains are frequent and safe). Spacious rooms, a ,good bed, good wifi, overall seems clean and well-maintained.

The breakfast is a bit disappointing, of the kind one expects at a cheap motel, especially the hot breakfast (rubbery eggs, dry grey "sausage", no mushrooms or vegetables), artificial-tasting pastries, single-use cups. The power outlets in the rooms are not well-placed, and there are no USB charge points. These are, of course, minor points.

Awful

Front desk people were very kind, and the staff at breakfast as well.

First room smelled like awful, I have never had to change rooms in a hotel room before. The place is very unsettling, it used to be a quaint place and now there's a loud restaurant next door that is in horrible shape. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel works for us due to location, price, and parking. However, the old hotel could do with a bit of a facelift.

Proximity to airport and easy parking.

Did not receive the requested wake up call. It is time to upgrade the beds.

We frequently stay at the Abercorn when we are travelling. It meets our basic needs.

We like the location but were disappointed to find the adjacent restaurant closed on the night we were there. It works for an in transit location.

The beds are just adequate but not great. Room lighting is not adequate. Very few plug ins for recharging .

Not much sleep.

They keep a fridge in a box. This makes it impossible for the fridge to work properly. It ran all night causing vibrations and buzzing noises right by the bed. Hardly slept at all.

Musty smell, dirty room

Staff is friendly and profession. Airport shuttle is good. As we arrived with a baby, we were happy about the kettle.

The room was dirty. The hotel is very noise because of the airport. The hotel needs to be renovated. Old, musty furniture and smell.

Last night stay with Easy access to airport

Convenient coming from Twawassan and having to go to airport next day. Appreciate the breakfast and the shuttle. Beds comfortable and nice restaurant next door for dinner.

The Albercorn works well for us when we are travelling.

Convenient parking, breakfast. The room was adequate for our needs and as it is reasonably priced we have stayed there several times.

Lousy hotel for the cost.

Breakfast had a lot of items from which to choose.

Overpriced. Light bulb burnt out. Stopper in bathtub didn't work. One elevator didn't work. lobby was tiny and crowded when we left.

Comfortable and Affordable

Comfortable room and very handy for the airport with a free shuttle bus to the Airport on a regular basis. We booked the shuttle the night before and it turned up on time and was hassle free. Staff were very helpful and happy to help.

Only downside breakfast is not very extensive but sufficient to start the day

Very disappointed considering the price we paid.

Staff was very pleasant. We had an early morning flight and used the free shuttle service. The hotel staff packed us a "to go" breakfast which was more than sufficient.

The building was not very clean. The hallways had not been vacuumed and just seemed dirty. The room was clean and we did not have issue with this. The rooms, hallways, and lobby area are just old and desperately need updating. We also could not find a fitness area, but based on the cleanliness of the other areas would probably have not used it if we had.
