The location & playful colors of building & rooms. Loved the retro room. The rotary phone with instructions was a hoot, haven't seen one in years!!

It’s a fun accommodation. Brings back the nostalgia of my childhood. The kitschy 70’s themed room and check-in area. Loved the fine details like the rotary phone and free yo-yo and comic book. The amenities (pool/hottub/deck/ping pong table room) were great. Free bike rental. Walking distance to the the lake and lakefront park.
It felt a bit rundown from the outside. The location of the hotel felt a little bit sketchy (groups of homeless people in the area). It definitely has a motel feel despite being a hotel.
