The view was great! The location was perfect for us. The hotel was great. They had some staffing problems and a new manager started there during our stay. He very quickly got on top of things . The restaurant was not part of the hotel in that it was leased.

I have allergies and I called the two restaurants in the hotel before we booked to make sure it was safe for me. I could not eat there because the food was very unsafe for me and the restaurant staff was not knowledgeable and they were rude. I tried eating there a second time thinking a simple breakfast would be safe; poached eggs and toast. I was sick all day.

Loved that there was a washer & dryer available for guests to use! Bonus points for that. The restaurants downstairs were handy & delicious! Great location adjacent to Harbour Front Walkway.

The hotel was undergoing renovation during our stay. I thought I was some metaverse when I stepped out of the lift. We couldn’t even find our room because the number plate was not displayed on the door, it was on the floor by the door. All these should have been make known to the customer during booking. The front desk clerk didn’t even mention the renovation to us when we check in. the room was small, the bed was too soft, the in-room safe did not work. also, the floor seemed to be slanted. I’m glad we only stay for one night.

The food in both the bar/lounge and fine dining restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to help us.

Location was good and waterfront

It is a very old hotel and Rooms are in need of repair. Toilet was falling off base and needed to be replaced. Chair was broken and unusable. Ants in the room and in our bed.

We were upgraded for free to a harbourview room just because one was available - we didn't have to ask. Also - the windows can be opened to let in fresh air

I liked that it didn't have gross carpet or a gross duvet on the bed. Everything felt clean and I appreciated the coffee maker. The room had everything we needed.

The parking lot was so cramped. It was really hard to park my car and my daughter and I both had difficulty opening our doors to exit - and I drive a small SUV. I saw one driver in a large truck finally give up and park somewhere else.

After over 2 weeks passed, I still have not received my deposit back onto my credit card. With multiple messages back and forth, still nothing resolved. I may have to escalate action.

we’ve stayed many times before and it was always good. We haven’t stayed for 2 years and now it smells musty and it seems like there’s water damage in the walls. the halls, elevators and our bathtub and bathroom floors needed a good scrubbing. overall it was fine, but sadly we probably won’t stay again as it seems like the older building isn’t being maintained well.
