Hôtel Motel Le Beluga

The staff was very friendly; it is convenient to some of the restaurants in town. Though slightly dated, our room was clean and comfortable. The on-site dinner-only restaurant, not run by the motel, was excellent!

The hallway outside of our ground floor room was slightly smelly. A coffee maker and sugar and creamer was provided, but oddly no coffee or tea.

It did not have lockers to leave the suitcases but the place is safe and we left the luggage in the car

The location was excellent and very convenient.

The room was quite small, there was no microwave, and the chairs were uncomfortable.

Upon arrival, the lady at the bar overheard that I was looking for a place to eat that night, and she immediately helped me to reserve a table that night. That was appreciated because I had just arrived in Tadoussac.

Normally, at any place that labels itself as a hotel, the in-room coffee supplies are replenished daily by the cleaning staff. That was not the case during my stay at Hotel Beluga. It may have been a lack of communication about how to request/decline. So every evening I had to go to the desk and ask for more. It seemed to be given begrudgingly as if I was consuming too much. 2 cups/day in a room is standard in most hotels. But I felt a bit live Oliver Twist, "Please, sir, can I have lost some more.?"
