Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center

breakfast was amazing

The bathroom door was warped and one of the vents was covered with towel. I personally don't think that that was done by staff at the hotel. I think maybe a guest did but it was concerning nonetheless . The gentleman at the front desk did not inform me of breakfast or the happy hour. I overheard him inform the woman in front of me . Staff should make sure that all guests are informed of the same thing. I've stayed at Embassy Suites before, and am well aware of what the process is but he didn't know that. Fortunately, another young lady who was not at the front desk mentioned it to my husband and I as we were getting onto the elevator.

Property was conveniently located to common areas

The suite i booked came with two tvs, one of them didn’t work. I called the night i checked in and asked for maintenance to come the next day. they never did , the bathroom could have been better cleaned as there was still hair on floor from previous person. Housekeeping did come during my stay and refreshed and restocked room so i appreciated that. Breakfast was okay , give it 6.5/10.

We liked the room size and the breakfast.

Upon arrival the bathroom had not been cleaned. I called the front desk and they said they would take care of it. We went to dinner and it was still not cleaned well. Called again. A woman came in and said her supervisor herself cleaned it, I showed her where it was still dirty with hair in the tub and on the floor; the unclean base of toilet. This woman was not nice but cleaned it.

I didn’t like the way how the valet people denied hitting my truck. They brought my truck out to me and scratched both of my passenger side doors. Security was rude, valet people tried denying the situation and now I am going through my insurance company to go after the valet company because the Hilton property uses a 3rd party valet company as do most places use.
