As a motel, the experience was fine. It was clean and the washrooms were updated and the living room was enough size.
A stove and full size fridge and freezer were nice. As was the option to barbecue.
The restaurant looked good, although we didn't go
Didn't realise it was a motel when booking (it's named as a resort). If we had known it was a motel instead of a resort, we would've set expectations accordingly.
Living room was smoky in the walls. Thankfully not the bedroom.
Value wasn't there in shoulder season, but this is probably a better value option during summer or winter.

The motel was very clean and comfortable and the owner was very personable and responsive.
There are only two things that would have made our stay a little better. Having a USB charger would have been nice, as my wife brout the câble but not the part that goes in the wall. A selection of teas (including non-caffeinated/herbal) in the rooms would have been nice, as not everyone drinks coffee.

Had a kitchenette
Not close to water or town. Pictures are not always what it really is. Killed at least 3 bugs everyday. Cobwebs in corners. Needs 2 night tables in bedroom
Kitchen was ok. Recycling bins for resort right outside room.
