Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha-Downtown

Staff were polite, helpful, and friendly. We enjoyed the location and how easy it was to get to our hotel and how near it was to a lot of things we were in town for. Beds were comfortable.

Parking was expensive. We were on the ground level and the time of year we went, bugs are always out extra trying to get inside. We had two unwanted guests show up in our room (cricket and small beetle - NO bedbugs, I always check. The bedding was nice and clean). I don't blame the hotel for that, it's the reality of being on ground level. The a/c unit though was my main issue. It worked great but there was always a weird mildew scent that I noticed every time it turned off after running through it's cycle. I did not complain to staff as we were really only using the room to sleep but the filter probably needs to be replaced.

Had to pay $15/day for parking. Room had a bed and one chair, another chair or lounge couch or something would have been nice

The breakfast was a highlight — good spread and fresh. Our room was immaculate; housekeeping clearly takes pride in it. Staff were warm and helpful throughout the stay. Easy recommendation.

Location

Cold shower, room was fairly clean but the soap leaked all over the shower, there was trash on floor, some lotion shot on the ceiling or something. Nobody picked up trash until we checked out.
