Chambers Hotel New York

Room size was good with nice furnishings and comfortable bed. Continental breakfast was excellent with nice dining room. Location is excellent near Central Park, MOMA, 5th Avenue.

Tile work in bathroom could have been cleaner. Rain Shower head and pressure were great but a lot splashed on the bathroom floor.

We were upgraded to a room with a balcony. Although I'd say I have stayed in appx hotel nights at several different properties in NYC over the last 25+ years, this is the only time i've had a balcony in the city. Location, it is mere blocks from Central Park, 1 block from the subway, and less than a mile from the Theater district Don't listen to the reviews that put down the breakfast. It is exactly what it says it is > (a continental breakfast with juices, coffee, fruit, toast, and pastries), and a nice one at that. The area is very nice with lots of restaurants and other nice properties. We had a celebrity citiing in front of a hotel directly across the street where we saw Gal Gadot, which gives you an idea as to how nice the area is. The staff is very friendly and helpful, more so than most NYC hotels I have stayed at. A nicer than average italian restaurant is located adjacent to and attached to the hotel, which is where the breakfast is served in the morning?l. And you can order dinner at night and we were told it was very good, but didn't make it there on this trip. Also, don't listen to the bad reviews about the electronic keypad to enter the room. It was super easy to use and not unlike many airbnb properties. We definitely recommend The chambers, a nice bortique hotel.

Nothing comes to mind. The hotel exceeded my expectations

Just spent 7 nights at the Chambers Hotel. Excellent Hotel, the location was fantastic, what’s better to have a short stroll out of the front door in the morning to Central Park and 5th Avenue. The staff were extremely helpful, Hotel very clean, spacious rooms and French windows, so you don’t feel closed in. Thank you Chambers

Couldn’t fault the hotel, It was clean/looked after, great location.

Unfortunately the staff are poor. After checking out, $700 was deducted from my account, even though i spent no money at the property. When I contacted regarding this they refunded the money and stated it was a mistake from their end. That was disappointing and enough but after that the $300 security deposit that was supposed to be refunded in 3-5 days when checking in was never returned to my account. When i followed this up after 3 weeks, all emails were ignored when asking for it to be put back into my account. I had to open up a dispute with my bank to return these funds as the hotel didn’t even have the decency to reply to any emails. Ensure you check your bank account if you stay here as it seems they are very cheeky and do what they can to take money from you. Extremely disappointed as i really enjoyed my stay here and i can’t believe a business would do this and then ignore you.
