This is a well used property and the staff managed to keep it clean and were very efficient in the restaurant and cafes.

The elevators were a disaster, some didn’t work and we had to use the house keeping elevator or the stairs! Signage asked for our patience while they were updating the system but according to past visitors it was the same last year. Not acceptable for a hotel that has such a large patronage. The hotel was full of people attending the US Open, people shouldn’t have to wait for five minutes or more and then take the stairs. At times the stairwell was full of people and it felt like an evacuation.

Location and beds/pillows very comfy!

The air conditioning stayed at 71 despite my husband calling to get it looked at. It had been down to 68 day before.

The location was perfect

The front desk checkin rudeness. I booked premier corner room with early check in but when arrived was told there was no early check available but I can pay $100 to use that perk. This should have been made clear up front that this isn’t guaranteed. I would have booked different room and/or hotel. Then housekeeping took all the hand towels and wash towels leaving behind one of each instead of three for three people. That was surprising. Disappointing with such a big hotel chain to treat clients so poorly when you had a long day traveling to deal with such hassle.
