Very convenient to Washington DC Convention Center. Directly across the street from Marriott Marquis. Nice, friendly cafe right next door.

Surprised there was no dresser in the room and only 1 luggage rack for 2 of us. It was inconvenient having to poke through suitcase on the floor trying to get clothes for next day. The tiny table only had room for the lamp, an iPad and toiletry kit. For $400/night I was hoping for something a little nicer.

The location was perfect for all our walking excursions to all museums and historic sights Many good restaurants in the area but we ate every breakfast and 2 dinners at the Henley. The food was excellent.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was generally clean. The staff were also all very nice.

The rooms are very small, and in particular the bathrooms are similar to what you might get in a budget hotel along the interstate. The shower fixtures in my room were loose and imprecise, and the toilet was behind the door in a very cramped space. The sink area was tiny. The room itself was OK, but also small and oddly absent of electical outlets. The only outlets were the ones behind the bedside tables, and there were no multiplugs or outlets in the lamps. So when I wanted to work on my laptop, I had to get on my hands and knees to unplug something else. Similarly, when I wanted to iron my shirt, there was only one outlet on the main wall, which was stuck behind a chair that I had to move. The outlet itself was partially hanging out of the wall. Wi-fi was available, but very slow. I wasn't trying to stream videos - just work via a VPN. My connection was very choppy the whole three days I was there.

it was quite tired and could do with refurbishment. however the room and the bathroom were modern.

The ambiance was so relaxing!
