Very nice clean room

It’s very old and dated but it’s clean and the bed is comfortable which is all that matters. The staff were so accommodating and kind.

No breakfast available and if it were, the price for a room would go up. Everything you need to make a cup of coffee is here, perhaps a bit more sugar and whitener would be nice seeing as how there was enough coffee supplied to make 2 pots, I use a lot of sugar in my coffee, so I was only able to have 2 cups and poured the rest of the coffee out before leaving. To be fair, there WERE 5 sugar packets....but hardly enough for 2 POTS of coffee, let alone a 3rd cup in my case. Towels, soap, phone book, TV channel guide were all as you would expect and not worthy of any further mention.

The strike plate on the door frame was loose....Not the most secure scenario and requires some attention. However, there appear to be security cameras on site so perhaps the management is satisfied with guest security as far as unauthorized entry is concerned?

We needed a place to stop over last minute on our trip from Ontario to BC and found the Melsask. I don't stay at many motels, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but decided to trust other reviews. I'm glad i did, the room (while a bit dated, but that's not really a real concern anyway) was very clean and put together. There was an AC unit which was great as it was 30 degrees out when we arrived. Check in was easy and quick, and the manager/owner was very kind. The wifi was not great but for one night it wasn't a huge deal for us. Would definitely stay again if needed, and would recommend to anyone needing a quick stay!

the location is great the staff are friendly and egger to please. it is a very run down building the beds are okay but the carpets and the bathrooms electrical all need to be updated . the bathroom taps for hot and cold are marked wrong as hot is reaall y the cold water tap . I paid for a extra large room with 2 beds and it was not any larger than the a standard 2 bed room that I rentted last year which was dissapointing. the coffee they offer is not tastely.

I thought this place was wonderful. I stayed for 4 nights and EVERY day they cleaned my room. this is my 3rd week staying in hotels for nights and no other business did this. The staff (which my limited interactions with them) were awesome. they were kind considerate and accommodating. I highly recommend it to people travelling through.
