Waikiki Marina Resort at the Ilikai

Easy to access location with a bus stop directly in front of the hotel if you take the line from the airport. Central to just about anything and everything you'd like to do in town. Comfy and spacious room with an excellent balcony space and a kitchen with fully stocked dishes, pots and pans for cooking or reheating leftovers. Pool was awesome, poke bowl and patio grill restaurants were delicious. Out the back there's a walkway for almost direct lagoon and beach access. Given the opportunity, I will definitely be coming back to stay here.

This is more of a personal preference than anything actually wrong, but the air conditioning unit never seemed to get the room as cold as I would've liked. Had it set to 66F and during the day hours that barely seemed to take the edge off. I'm from a hotter climate where the AC is set to 77 or 78F during the day and that's usually enough... in the end not a big deal but after walking through the city it would've been nice to come back to a chilly room and take a breather.

The TV didn’t work and it took 3 times asking reception to finally get it fixed.

Great location walking distance to the beach, lagoon and shopping centres. Staff very helpful and friendly. Kitchen was a bonus

As soon as we checked in (long travel prior), we were shuffled to a concierge who attempted to sell us activities/time-share. We voiced our exhaustion and ended up saying we are just not interested. It would have been appreciated to be given the space to rest before that. I ended up avoiding the office because of this.
