Kauai Coast Resort at the Beach Boy

We stayed at this location before moving to Poipu for a "fancier" hotel and wish we had stayed a little longer. Loved the location as it was less resort-y and touristy than Poipu with nearly empty beaches. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the condo considering the price and although more dated, it wasn't too far off from the much more expensive condo we booked in Poipu for later in the week. The only reason it's not a 10 was because of a constant AC vent leak that puddled in the bathroom and the size of the pool compared to other resorts but all in all was a nearly perfect stay.

Fix the AC leak but to be fair I never reported it. Can't think of anything else to complain about.

The location is great - accessible to restaurants, coffee shops, dining.

Needs a bit of updating & an elevator might be beneficial to guests with disabilities.

Well locates in Kapaa right on the ocean with a pleasant pool and beautiful garden plantings. Villa room had full kitchen, separate bedroom and even washer and dryer! Our Lanai had a partial ocean view that was delightful! Beach is not that accessible but there is a nice walkway along it. Shopping center steps away. Restaurant and Tiki Bar onsite but we did not try them. No extra fees and plenty of parking, A nice laid back Hawaii vibe.

Beautiful place to stay. Nice pool. Nice location. Good value

Woken up around 4am every night from the roosters that obviously live on the grounds. Cleaning crew needs to look over rooms better.
