Hyatt Place Milford/New Haven

Our breakfast was very good. Nice selection of foods and the breakfast area was very clean and comfortable. The room was clean and felt spacious.

My disappointments were that I specifically requested a quiet room because I am a light sleeper and ended up with a window directly facing the hotel’s construction site. Also, due to the ongoing construction project our window was totally draped in plastic which we couldn’t see through. If not for that we could have enjoyed a nice view. Other than that our stay was very satisfactory.

Didn’t get breakfast. Left too early.

Expensive snacks.

Conveniently located off I-95. Large rooms (could use some updating). Very helpful and friendly staff at check-in and in the evening (we used the lobby to socialize with local friends). Better-than-average hotel coffee.

Breakfast was so-so. Noise from nearby roads and the interstate. Hotel under outdoor rehab construction at the time of our stay.

There was parking in the front

To start the building was under construction and that was not listed when making the reservation. There was a plastic tarp over the building and something hitting the window every few minutes making a banging sound due to heavy winds. The bed sheets had blood on them which makes me feel the sheets weren’t even washed . Staff got alittle rude when trying to address the banging on the window and asking for clean sheets . It’s not somewhere I would stay in the future as I feel it was a little over priced for half the service. Was disappointed in breakfast as some things were not cooked properly
