Renaissance Seattle Hotel

Beautiful large room with plenty of space for us and all our luggage.

Due to its location next to busy roads, there is an almost constant noise of traffic which may interfere with sleep for some. Climbing up the steep hills to 6th Avenue from the waterfront is strenuous.

Needs more lunch and coffee breakfast options, for example a full Starbucks. Service in the fig restaurant for break fast was very slow, food took 30 minutes. Perhaps understaffed

no complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning. When I got up at 6 my husband was still sleeping so I would have woken him up to make it in the room. When I went down stairs the charge was $10 and change for 2 cups and when I got my cc statement the hotel took the liberty to charge my cc $22. not sure why. I was disappointed. The rooms are good but narrow. Beds are comfy and clean. The location is at the top of the hill so walking to the pier is all down hill at first then all up hill to return.

- Wi-Fi: The standard/high-speed Wi-Fi is not available unless you are a member of the hotel’s membership program. The membership itself is free, but it is still an extra step that guests should be aware of. - Elevators: The elevators are quite slow, especially around checkout time. If you are staying on a lower floor, expect potentially long waits, as the elevators tend to be crowded and make frequent stops. - Location: The nearest train station is about a 10-minute walk away, but the walk to the hotel involves a very steep uphill road. This can be quite inconvenient if you have heavy luggage or are not comfortable walking uphill. The distance itself is not far, but the steep slope makes the hotel feel less accessible.
