Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Abilene Mall South by IHG

Great location very clean. Breakfast was great. The Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff. Great place to park my motorcycle. Right next door to the Harley dealership. Room was clean and comfortable.

I was in the Presidential Suite and there were some issues. It had two A/C units in it because of the size of the room, but only one worked. The ceiling fan blades drooped so bad that I don't think it was actually useful. The sink in the bathroom had plumbing issues. The pipes underneath the sink were not connected and when you ran the water it wound up on the floor. Had to use all my towels to keep the water from going all over the place.

Neither liked nor disliked. Pretty much neutral but leaning more towards not really caring much for this Holiday Inn Express property.

It’s old. Didn’t know that at booking. Honestly, when we drove up one of the large decorative pine shrubs was dead and it appears no one has bothered to blow off the carport area in a while (cigarette butts and other small amounts of trash). Door latch fixtures were very tarnished gold, the door to the room had hand prints all over it. It just set the tone. The bathrooms was not well cleaned so we used Clorox wipes to clean and sanitize it a bit. Have some pics to share. Tile knocked off the wall and dirty bathroom corners. Not really very appealing. If I ever come to Abilene again, this will not be where I stay. Unless they do some work on the property to bing it to the standard of other Holiday Inn Express locations I wouldn’t recommend it.
