Perfect location for shows at the Warner Theater. Excellent food and attractions within walking distance. Clean quiet room with promised view of Washington Monument.
Hotel Restaurant food was below par. Went out for all meals.

The hotel is centrally located and close to the major memorials and sights in DC.
The aircon is powerful, a big plus in the hot weather.
The shower is also very good.
We booked a room with Monument view. Instead, we got the tip of the Monument, just like the lead part of a pencil + a little bit more. The photo is a misrepresentation of the actual view and we can’t help feeling cheated given that we have paid extra for the so called Monument view’
The layout of the room is odd. The desk is at a corner where there is no overhead night or desk lamp. You have to rely on the bedside lights and the 2 lights above the bed if you want to write at the desk. Overall, the room is a bit dark and feels somewhat miserable
