Quiet location

All good

Quiet and clean room.

We didn't realize it was so far from downtown.

We slept very well, it was reasonably quiet and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated that there was an arm chair with foot rest in our room, and the mini fridge was very cold which was a nice surprise. From this location it's possible to walk to multiple grocery stores and restaurants, in addition to being only a short drive from the downtown and to the waterfront.

The breakfast room was echo-y--especially with the TV blasting that the staff at the counter only begrudgingly turned down upon request--and breakfast was nothing special, 'typical' semi-edible offerings of this tier of hotel. The pool room had a door that was difficult to open, and it seemed weird that there were 2 doors inside the pool room labeled "Caution, Chemicals," or something like that. Everything was very clean, although the floors in our room felt a bit damp on the carpet (no visible mold), and the vents above the pool itself were covered in either thick dark dust or black mold. The hotel decor was all white and not particularly welcoming/cozy. Staff were not particularly rude nor welcoming.
