Kinnikinnik Motor Lodge

This is a converted motel that they have obviously put some thought into remodeling. My room was very comfortable with a nice king sized bed a walk-in closet and a very nice bathroom. The room had a mini refrigerator that was quite cute and a coffee maker, while it didn’t have a microwave oven I didn’t miss it. The room was very clean and nicely appointed as was the bathroom. Their concept of not having a check-in desk is ingenious!! All the rooms have a digital lock and you are emailed and text messaged your code and directions for checking out. Check in is at 3:00 p.m. but you can request an earlier time. I would definitely stay there again.

There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Loved the cute decor and design, both inside and outside, and everything felt very clean overall. I especially liked that the bedding and towels were all white. The cleaning crew was always on-site, which was convenient when I needed extra towels. I also appreciated the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, and hangers. The lobby had affordable snacks and amenities available, which was a nice touch. Great location super close to town. When we needed help with something we called the customer service phone number and our problem was solved immediately. They were very helpful.

The only thing that didn’t feel completely clean was a slight black buildup starting to form around the small windowsill/handle in the shower, which made me hesitant to touch it. The bed was comfortable but a little too firm for my liking.

The location was great for my needs. Ample parking. Keyless access was very nice.

The A/C unit was ridiculously loud. I woke up every time it kicked on.

Nicely remodeled/redecorated.

Paper thin walls, very small tv that was only a smart tv. No breakfast at all. Poor lighting in bathroom.
