GrandStay Residential Suites Hotel

It was a beautiful room. I wish I could have stayed longer.

When I arrived there were no towels in my room. Front desk said they would deliver them. I came back at 9 pm there were still no towels in my room. When I left it was hot in the room so I turned the AC down. When I came back it was still hot so I needed to open the windows. In the morning after shampooing my hair the next thing was the body wash. There was no body wash in the dispenser. I had to get out of the shower wet to find my own bar of soap that I bring with me just in case to finish my shower.

Location. Comfortable bed. Very roomy

Bathroom was needing some attention. Caulking around tub shelving worn. Breakfast was mediocre.

Staff was friendly. The room was spacious. We had a king suite so the bedroom was it's own room with a living room with a couch. The couch did have a torn cushion when we got there, but I don't necessarily care about that, some people might. The room had a full sized fridge/freezer which was nice for unpacking our items to keep them cold/frozen for the remainder of our trip. There are several food places near the hotel which made it simple for us to grab a bite to eat and bring it back to the hotel after we checked in.

Check in took longer than expected. For some reason they had to enter in all of my information manually. I had to run my card twice, once for the room, once for the pet deposit which isn't typical with other hotels. There is no overhang to park under to unload items into the hotel. It was absolutely pouring when we got there and the only spots open were a ways from the front door so I had to run through the rain several times to unload my car. The front doors aren't automatic which made it difficult to haul my stuff in on my own. The kitchen floor had something sticky on it that my shoe kept getting stuck in, I wasn't brave enough to investigate to see what it was. Hot tub was empty and not functional, I honestly wasn't planning on using it, just noticed it when I walked by and figure others may want to know that.

Good price

Dreary and outdated inside. Not very clean. My dishwasher even had dirty dishes in it.
