Parkshore Resort

I scheduled our stay at Parkshore Resort through Booking.com. The whole process was virtually so simple. The communication I received from Parkshore after booking confirmation was second to none. I received both emails and text messaging updating me on my visit and the check in procedures. Upon arrival I was very impressed with the friendliness of the front desk and even more impressed with our room and view. The quietness of the hotel in the evening was very welcome as we had put in a busy day and were looking forward to getting a good night's sleep. We found the room to be very clean and the mattresses were excellent, firm yet very comfortable. Now I know that may not mean anything to a lot of people, but we all have back issues and to wake up in the morning feeling totally rested and not all stiff and cramped up was definitely a plus for us. Check out process was also very simple. We elected to get more sleep rather than to rise early and partake in their breakfast so I cannot comment on that. But we did get to enjoy their lounge and cocktails before heading up to bed for the night and that was also a very pleasant experience. I cannot wait to be able to come back to Traverse City and stay at the Parkshore Report.

The only very tiny little negative that I can say was that we wished they had a little shop in their lobby where you could buy snacks, beverages, Tylenol or various other little sundry items versus having to hunt down a vending machine or having to leave the hotel and find a store. But like I said, that was just a very minute little item.

The rooms were nice enough and updated and spacious.

The lobby, hallways, and elevator seems not that well kept up and carpet was dirty/dingy.

Pulizia camera e della colazione da rivedere(bicchieri marchiati di rossetto. Non aiuta una struttura obsoleta, usurata. Serve una completa ristrutturazione . Balcone vista mare eccezionale peccato che aveva la sedia rotta e che il balcone non era stato pulito. Capisco la presenza dei gabbiani , ma la camera inclusi i balconi vanno consegnati puliti, poi la natura farà il suo corso. C’è un ristorante sicuramente comodo in struttura, sicuramente sarà stato ottimo , ma non ho avuto il coraggio di cenare per indubbio igiene della struttura. In generale non ci tornerò, non ha senso spendere tutti quei soldi per una struttura così obsoleta e non pulita.
