Campfire Hotel

Alice in reception was a wonderful help to us.

It is in general a busy area and you can hear traffic from the busy roads if your window is open.

Loved this hotel. I will definitely stay here again. Room was very nice.

So many thoughtful amenities. Beds were comfortable. It was clean. Campfire was fun.

Parking was a little cramped.

The staff at Campfire Hotel are professional, nice and responsive. The beds are comfortable. Campfire Hotel is usually my go-to stay in Bend. In past visits, I've really enjoyed it.

I choose Campfire Hotel when I'm in Bend because it usually feels like a mini-resort. Typically, there is a Canteen where you can purchase cocktails for the pool and a wonderful hot tub. This visit, the hot tub was out of order with large orange cones and caution tape around it and the Canteen was closed for remodel. None of this was disclosed ahead of time. The website has not been updated to state that half the amenities are unavailable. Though the pool was still operable, without food or drink and with caution tape and traffic cones on the deck, it was not a place I wanted to spend time. There was a wedding party staying in the rooms all around us partying very loudly. I finally called the front desk and they did get the party quiet. But the party quieted because they departed to go somewhere else. In doing so, they left a sad dog howling in the adjacent room the rest of the night. I was feeling like a Karen at that point, so I didn't report it. I usually love Campfire Hotel, but I don't think it's ethical to charge standard prices for rooms when half the amenities are unavailable and to not disclose this ahead of time. Campfire Hotel is far from the most economical choice of lodging in Bend and without all the fun extras, it is not worth it.
