The rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very nice.

The shower in the double queen suit does not make sense however as there is no privacy if you are rooming with a friends or someone you may not be as close with. Staff who greeted us were not very welcoming to my friend and I. I am not sure if it was because we were young or something else

I love this hotel so much! The included breakfast is amazing. The food is quality. I have also eaten a few meals in the restaurant and they have been fantastic! The room is perfect for me traveling alone, with some extra comforts like having a robe available. The bed and pillows are very comfortable for me, especially as I have sleep issues as well as chronic pain. I love that the window curtains close the whole way and the HVAC is quiet! The fitness center is also worthwhile. There isn't a pool, which is not a priority for me. However, as a patron you are able to use the hotel next door's pool if you'd like. This is a pet-friendly hotel, but the two times I have stayed, you wouldn't know since it is quiet and clean! Staff is friendly and helpful as well!

We checked in around 9 PM, and the two girls working were very helpful, bubbly, and sweet. We had drinks, and ate dinner at the bar. Our food and service was grea,t We really liked the bartender. He was very friendly, and professional! Breakfast very good, and hot. It was a short overnight stop, but we visit Des Moines often, and we will definitely stay there again!

Breakfast was ok. Good variety. Restaurant was nice addition. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the restaurant option. Loved the robes in the suite. Nice shower! Comfy beds. Very quiet hotel.

Not very kid friendly breakfast though. Waffles or biscuits and gravy would have been nice. There was no pool and Priceline advertised for a pool and the main reason we booked here was for this supposed pool. Then arrive and come to find out there is NO POOL. Very disappointing. Not worth the money I spent on the room either. Also at check in I told the front desk we did not bring our dog and they still charged me for a pet fee. I had to call to get it refunded back on my card.
