I really liked the staff. They were very down to earth and friendly. It didn't feel like "I have to be nice because it's my job." The cleanliness of the place far exceeded my expectations for the price of the stay. I would recommend staying here for anyone passing through Effingham.

Location off the hwy was easy. Very friendly front desk staff. Bed was comfy. AC worked well. Lots of restaurants nearby
Side door was broken so it was propped open with a rock per management instructions. Also the bath towels were extremely thin and rough and only a little bigger than a hand towel.

It was a very convenient place to stop on the road. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. It looked like it has not been very long since it was remodeled.
Sink and tub were very slow to drain.
A/C thermostat didn’t appear to work … I could never get it to come on, but weather was mild enough I was able to get by.
Breakfast was basic while both coffee caraffes dispensed a little coffee at time (took many pumps to fill a cup).
