Holiday Inn Express Fredericksburg - Southpoint by IHG

This hotel was fabulous! When we arrived, we were instantly greeted by a friendly staff member at the front desk. She was very quick to get us our room keys and asked if we needed anything else for our stay. Our room was very clean and well stocked. Breakfast was plentiful with every option you could think of. There were two styles of omeletes, meats, and an array of other breakfast items including fresh oatmeal with fixings, bagels, fruit, yogurt, harboild eggs (already deshelled!), buscuits and gravy, and more. They provided the freshest coffee I've ever had at a hotel--the machine ground the beans right inside it! You could truly taste the difference. I can't express how friendly and informative the staff was. This was by far one of the beast hotel stays I've experienced. You can't beat this value.

I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer.

Breakfast was great. Plenty of options. The room was clean and had both a fridge and microwave. The work out room was fine. Staff at front desk was super friendly.

Nothing.

The breakfast was plentiful. There was enough to make several choices for my husband and me. The cook was very pleasant, and the staff who helped were very polite. The location was great for travel purposes to attend a memorial. Having plenty of parking was a plus.

I can honestly say there was nothing that I did not like. The room was clean and provided all the necessary toiletries. Being able to control the temperature was a plus. The television choices were nice to have.

Convenient location. Comfortable room.

As with so many US hotels, breakfast left us wondering where the nearest actual breakfast restaurant might be.
