Sanibel Inn

The facilities, staff, and environment were outstanding. It was obvious to us they care no only about the grounds and room, but if their guests are comfortable.

The weather was not cooperative. We learned later we visited in the rainy season. Our fault for our ignorance. Otherwise, there isn't anything we recommend they improve.

Disappointing experience. I was made to wait until 4PM for check-in (while traveling with my 4-year-old child), with no accommodation or empathy from the staff. At check-out, there was zero flexibility.I was forced to leave at exactly 11AM! What makes this more frustrating is that the hotel was very far from full (and was even advertising summer promotions). There was no operational reason for this rigidity, just poor guest service and lack of empathy. I checked here on booking and there were rooms available in the same category… Another issue was the breakfast service — we waited nearly an hour for our food!! There was only one employee covering all the tables, which was clearly not enough.
