Liz is very friendly to her guests. The breakfast options are amazing like the omelette, full English breakfast, porridge, etc. freshly made from her kitchen. It was huge servings too that we had to request to make smaller servings for us the next day. The property is walking distance to the esplanade and it has a free street parking.

Its a really nice place to stay as a tourist

The location was good very close to the promenade, although quite a walk into town/shops area. Breakfast was very good, and staff friendly and helpful. Place was clean.

Too many stairs, we were on top floor, and stairs were narrow and steep. Bathroom very small. Not a lot of room to get out of shower or dress afterwards. Room very dark,as wardrobe space meant it covered a good part of window, and no view to speak of. Parking is on road outside, which was very busy, if you went out in car difficult to get space when you came back. Especially if high season. Parking was under trees so car was filthy from bird mess,and falling leaves.

Nice location. We had a double room with a private bathroom. There was a kettle in the room and you could make chocolate, cofee or tea. Beds were excellent! A very good breakfast every morning which you partly ordered the day before by filling out a form.

There could have been more "hooks" nearby the shower and washcabin for hanging towels. No cheese or ham at breakfast.

The stairs. Parked in the road outside the hotel, car covered in bird faceas overnight as so many trees in the road. Obviously not the hotels fault.

The host was very lovely and helpful, cooking breakfast that you order the night before. Very nice and quiet area. Lidl round the corner, walking distance to some good restaurants.

Clean. Warm atmosphere. Friendly host. Easy walking distance to town, station, buses. Lovely breakfast. The fact the dining area was accessible at all times.

Breakfast was lovely and with a good variety of hod and cold food. There is a good range of options. The room was comfortable and with good light. Clean and complete. The bathroom was good size and with a good shower however the temperature was difficult to regulate. Location was good, some 15 mins from city centre and close to the promenade. It was also a good location point to visit other areas in Cornwall.

There is no space for relaxing other than the dining room. A small living area would be a plus to relax in the evenings. There are no many options for food in the evening close to the house the closest restaurant is a Thai one with not very good food. The option is to go to the city centre or get some take away.

Very peaceful and clean area, Rosalie Guest House is the perfect place to relax! There are many things to do in Penzance. I will be back again in the summer :)

Our host, Liz, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The "little touches" were much appreciated - fresh milk always available for in-room hot drinks, access to dining room at all times - to sit and have a drink, use the microwave and store food in the fridge- (though we did not avail ourselves of these), local knowledge and recommendations, loan of an OS map. Friendly chats at breakfast, when she remembered and asked about our previous days activities (we were walking the SW coast path).

The property was fabulous . It was in a prime location very close to the beach . Alexandra road is well connected to every tourist spot in Penzance . Plus this hotel is a must for car owners . You just need not worry about parking . A special mention for the host Liz . She is extremely proffessional yet very caring . She takes care of all the guest needs in terms of room cleanliness , room providing tea coffee towel replacements . It was one great experience . A special mention for Liz s breakfast . Piping hot with an array of choices . One breakfast me and my wife would rate the highest in England

My partner and I recently stayed at Penzance and we had a fantastic time! The location was perfect. Our host Liz was extremely welcoming and accommodating, and her attention to detail really made our stay extra special. Her warm personality and genuine care for her guests really made us feel at home. The breakfast each morning was a real highlight of our stay. Liz served up a delicious and hearty breakfast with a range of options to suit everyone's tastes. Overall, we had an amazing stay at Penzance and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore west Cornwall. We can't wait to return!

Nothing to be honest

Must say that the hotel location was convenient. It was a 15 -20 mins walk to Penzance station and 5 mins to the promenade. Liz was very sweet and had offered us rooms as soon as they were ready even before the checkin time. She also did accommodate our request to store the birthday cake and allow us to use the breakfast room for the birthday cake cutting :) She was kind enough to guideand explain us about all the nearby options to eat and for places to visit Breakfast was good and filling Overall lovely stay for the price paid !!!
