Port Townsend Inn

there were 3 different folks on duty over the 3 days I was there. The woman who checked us in was not friendly (long dark hair) and very short with her responses to my questions about the area etc. BTW - there was no one waiting and it was like 530 or so. On contrast the morning woman was EXCELLENT. Very friendly and very helpful, I was super glad I went back to ask questions. The third woman was great too and helpful.

The hotel is dated and needs to be deep cleaned and have some maintenance done. The place was a motel - drive up and harkened back to the 70s. The room itself was not what I was expecting. It was actually 2 rooms each with a queen bed. I think for some folks that would be preferred but it was not what I was looking for and it wasn't what was pictured on site. Also the second room had no air or heat or a nite stand. It was a bed, lamp and a desk opposite the bed - and no chair. The main room had a table with ONE chair. For a room that is supposed to be for up to 4 folks, its not big enough. And there was only 2 of us. Value wise, it was a good location but for $130 per nite, I'd spend a little more and get a much nicer room - elsewhere.

Central location, nice staff, low price.

Nothing wrong with the place but it would be nice if they reopened the indoor pool facilities. Older decor could use some updates.

Loved the location. It had everything we needed.

The toilet lid was dusty. It would have been nice to have a small towel ring next to the sink in the bathroom.

For $250/ nite the room was poor quality . Poor mattress, shower curtain did not keep water off floor, parking very tight, had to go to office to get coffee packets for next morning even tho knew we had 2 people in room.
