we didn't actually stay, had to leave and booked another hotel last minute.

the Inn building was actually there

awfull smell in the room and suggestion to wait it out

Ski fun value!

Great location parallel to Truckee’s main road, Donner Pass Rd Great staff, little lobby with awesome Nescafé machine. We enjoyed eating our take-out dinner in front of the roaring gas fireplace after a day of skiing.

Too bad sauna and spa aren’t in service anymore.

Reasonable room at good value.

Clean, reasonable rate, quiet.

Ice machine was noisy. Room had a unnatural deodorant chemical smell that was unpleasant.

Less than adequate for her money.

Location.

The room had two doubles and the size was as small as I’ve ever seen a room for two people. No closet, tiny bathroom, no place to put suitcases and not bump into them during the night.

I liked that it was a small operation, the river or stream was nearby, and made the dog walk pleasan

was able to walk next door for dinner and other needs

Hot tub could have been available. Road noise from freeway was annoying. Room smelled faintly of cigerette smoke

convenient, allows pets, staff are great, reliable place for us to stay when we visit our daughter and family

close to stores and amenities in Truckee

They charged me a spa fee when the hot tub etc. was under construction. When I asked about removing it the staff said they didn't have the authority to adjust the bill. The manger who could do it was never there. Essentially got the run around.

would visit again with a different room, not close to front desk

loved the free coffee with it's many options the staff was friendly and helpful

loud yelling at 7:30 in the morning / both days possibly from delivery persons, but also greeting customers loudly too early since the room was near front desk

central location, close to many ski hills, free basic continental breakfast, price

smell, outdated furniture, carpet, dirty bathrooms, fingerprints all over microwave

I've stayed here several times in the winter and summer and will stay here again. Need I say more?

good value closeness to Palisades closeness to downtown Truckee nice brewpub nextdoor groceries and food also nextdoor and there's more just a short walk

given that it's "good value" there's nothing I did not like

Pet fee was high at 45 a night. I was expecting to pay 25 a night not 45.

many hotels have a pathetic mr. coffee machine in the room. The Inn at Truckee has a pretty decent coffee/hot chocolate machine in the lobby that is free 24 hours. powdered supplies, but still good.

Pleasant

Not a luxury hotel, but great motel. Rooms were clean, but outdated. Lacked amenities of a hotel. However, staff was friendly. Also, great location.

heavy cleaning product smell but not necessarily clean as I found the top cabinet to have food stains.

I did not sleep well at all

New beds/pillows. That’s the worst night I’ve had sleeping in a long time. Why give 5 small, flat pillows when you can give 2 fluffy soft pillows?

Good value for the price paid!

I liked the location and the cleanliness!

I think the rooms may need some upgrades and some of the lights/appliances did not work.

Very good

The bed was surprisingly comfortable for a hotel bed. Not as good as home but far better than I'm used to when traveling.

The cleaning product smell was very strong and the bathroom floor was slick from the cleaning residue.
