Staybridge Suites Rockford by IHG

I loved the staff. Location, and breakfast. The free laundry area and dining room. The room was spacious and clean.

I didn't like that there weren't any USB charging outlets near the bedside.

The size of the room was perfect. Also, having access to free laundry was great (especially because we were there for a tournament). The location was close to everything. Best part was housekeeping - they came daily to pick up any garbage, towels, etc. The "happy hour" during the week was also a really nice touch.

The breakfast was convenient but very limited (which was fully described ahead of time). The room was a little well-lived in.

The breakfast was very good

I booked a room with a walk in shower because I cannot step into a tub to shower. The front confirmed that I booked that room and a mistake has been made and they gave it away to someone else. The bathroom was very small and I couldn't use my walker to go Into it. So basically I paid for one room and got another one that I couldn't use properly. They said that the manager would give me some money back but because it was arranged by booking.com I had to go through them. I have no idea how to contact booking.com to remedy this. I will never stay at a staybridge hotel again.
