The room was spacious and well decorated.

The fireplace made a loud noise and was very ugly (electric) - not seen in photos. The room lighting was subpar - one light was broken, and in general lighting was too cold. The hallways had an atrocious smell that gave my friend a migraine. While the photos look good, the actual experience was not good.

Charming, historic hotel in a great location.

the room itself was pretty . The guy at the counter was very very nice and tried his best to help us out !

we showed up and the place felt stuffy . we get up to our floor and the hallway floor was dirty and there was food spilled in two places . then we got into our room and it didn’t seem like the room was actually cleaned after the last person . the sheets were all touched up on the bed , there was hair in the bed . it look as if they just threw the blanket back over the bed and pretended it had been cleaned . there was trash still in the can . we went down to the desk the guy was very very nice but he called his manager because they had no other rooms available so he ended up having to take us to their closet and get us clean sheets and bedding so we could remake the bed ourselves :( they also had no clean fitted sheets very limited bedding so we had to use a flat sheet to lay on cause they only had that one clean and we had to use a queen blanket on our king bed . so that was very disappointing paying what we did and still had to make our bed with limited bedding . the best thing about the entire experience was how hard the guy at the desk tried to help us the best he could being the only person there .
