Everything, it is a beautiful hotel . Home away from Home . Wanda an amazing person she made us feel at home . Extremely clean . oooh Breakfast exceptional it was amazing .

Location was great. Never tried the breakfast.

CLEAN! CLEAN! CLEAN! Floors, doors (around the door handle), drinking glasses, paint ( it was obvious nothing had been painted for a long time, geese poop everywhere, I pick up my dogs poop, I’m sure Acorn Hill Lodge was a beautiful place at one time. The toilet did not work properly, had to take the tank lid off and wiggle the float to fill the tank after every use, iron board cover was so old the pad was actually falling apart . For the price, it was not worth it. The staff was Great.

The breakfast was great. Not your normal free breakfast. There were choice from an actual menu. Not a free breakfast bar. Location was perfect for visiting Liberty University and Thomas Road Baptist Church.

The owner was very friendly and warm. The staff was excellent and responsive. Breakfast was fantastic.

we loved our stay at Acorn lodge. We were greeted by Dani, Wanda's niece, with a big smile and a hello! we were offered a tour of the B&B and made friends with Dani immediately. She even washed my outfit for me when I had a little red wine incident! Complimentary breakfast made our stay even better. I highly recommend Acorn Lodge.

needed a place to put clothes-didn't have a dresser and we had only 2 hangers in the closet. no biggie but it would have been nice to be able to unpack suitcase.

It was very challenging to get breakfast that was part of the ambiance of a property like this. I know in this time many places are understaffed but the wait was long the staff was short with us in trying to order etc.

Everything was really great...The room was really clean and the bed was very comfortable...Would have liked to get a message but I need to get an appointment which I didn't know but know I do for next time...Need to get the appointment in a 2 week advance was what I was told...Everything was great and the staff was also very excited too...

The owners welcomed us to the inn. The inn has a family and community feel. Everyone was friendly and kind.

The inn needs a look over toward revitalization. Almost like a decorative makeover.

Clean

This Lodge was something out of a movie. The wrap around porch lined with rocking chairs, birds singing outside the window, ducks and fish down on the pond. A perfect place for a weekend getaway.

The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Hotel staff were very friendly.

The outside and grounds were very disappointing. Lawn wasn't mowed. Weeds everywhere. It could have been beautiful with some minor landscaping and flowers.

“Everything” is not a helpful answer, so here is a short Iist: the beds, breakfast in the Bistro, the staff, the decor, the piano in the parlor, the size of the suites, the little things (cookies, fruit, the ducks).

Nothing we didn’t like. Well, maybe the downpour at check-out.

The location is beautiful and peaceful.
