Montvale Hotel

Great location. Breakfast is of site, (a block away) but very good.

I had to park my car a block and half away from the hotel.

Room was nice enough. Bathroom was large. Wifi was good. The location was really the best part, right in the downtown, entertainment area and park area, which is really amazing.

Room accèss was tight. Room was smallish and plain. TV was basic and had no app access for other TV devices. Its pretty common nowadays. Resturant had no veggie options. We did get a $6 discount to cover some bit of breakfast. Pretty insufficient compared to the breakfast that was provided for those that eat everything. No water in room for drinking. In lobby for $3 a small bottle. We had decided to stop back in Spokane on our way home. Tried to get a room and the cost was $50 more for same accommodations. So it goes, we went to a place down the street close to same area and much less with basic accommodations.

Breakfast at nearby restaurant was very good. Huge room. Historic building, so floors creaked and listed some, but not disturbingly.

Room needs blackout curtains. Outside uplighting shined through the blinds, kept the room light all night.

It was attached to the wedding venue my daughter used to get married.

Additional cost for parking. 16 spots just behind the hotel with the overflow parking two blocks grime the hotel.
