Hotel

Was within walking distance to the main sights such as Empire state building, Grand central station, Chrysler building, Times square, Rockerfeller and Hudson yard (walking time avg 20-30min). Fulfilled my purpose. Staff was friendly and helpful!

The hotel is very sexy. The decor is a deep chocolate brown with gold accents. The lobby feels expensive the second you walk in. The pool is recently renovated and very sleek and beautiful. There is a lifeguard on-duty. The Turkish Bath was very relaxing and enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hours for the Turkish Bath. NYC is a city where you are out most of the day and it would have been great to come back and be able to use the Hamam. Unfortunately, it closes at 9 and I was usually not back until closer to 11.

Room is clean though it uses A LOT OF AIR REFRESHER in the room. It kind of suffocated us at time as it is so strong.

Our room's bathroom fan has intermittent noise problem. We were waited up by its LOUD NOISE 4am in the morning. Closing the bathroom door did not help much . I report to hotel mgt in person the next morning about the vent problem (which needs to be fixed in the future) and show them the video clip of the noisy exhaust fan. This was what the lady's response: why don't you call us right away so that we can sent someone to fix it. I found it ridiculous that as it was 4am in the morning, we needs to sleep. Not to mention that I doubt the repair man would be avail at 4am.

It looks slightly tired as you walk in. It’s a 4 star desperately trying to be a 5 star. The standard of finish in the rooms are not of a high standard. The biggest disappointment was there is no real spa. It’s advertised as Turkish Bath / Steam and a separate Steam Room. What you actually get us a barely warm room with sinks of water that you don’t even know is clean. The only reason I spent the money was because I wanted a relaxing spa experience with a steam room. When I bought this misrepresentation to the front desk’s attention they offered me a reduction in my bill of the destination fee. It really was not enough as I had wasted my time and money booking an ordinary hotel, wasted money on a Uber getting there and didn’t get the experience I thought I paid for. I am requesting a full refund now from booking.com for the false advertising.

I have been to the city frequently in the last few years and stayed at many hotels in Gramercy and Murray Hill, and this by far exceeded my expectations! The size alone surprised me for the price! I had so much space to place my belongings. Even the closet was huge! The front desk staff was so welcoming and helpful! Exceptionally clean! Very comfortable beds, clean bathroom, great housekeeping service. The double queen suite room was quiet and even had a private balcony!The gym was perfect, had a peloton bike which was great! Although we didn’t use the Turkish bath, it was an added bonus! All the staff was so friendly and ready to help with a smile! I particularly like hotels that are bright, well lit and and modern in decor. The best part was the room was the same way! Loved this hotel! I have found my go to hotel in NYC!

Cassandra and Tyrell where amazing they were so friendly and great to us each and everytime we walked into the hotel. Will definitely go again

The hotel is bright and modern with great facilities and in a good position

We returned after a few days and we were given an upgrade to a room with a balcony but the bathroom was tiny and hard to navigate for two

I liked the room, the location, and the view.

There was no microwave in the room when I arrived and when they brought one up it didn't work. The bathroom door did not close properly and the refrigerator alarm kept going off because the door didn't close properly. The blinds didn't cover the window enough to keep out the sunlight which awaken me too early. There were no instructions on how to work the Nescafe coffeemaker, there was no menu for room service in the room, there was no information in the room regarding check out time and when my visitor came, the concierge didn't inform me that they were sending him up so I came to the lobby unnecessarily. There also were no instructions on how to use the phone in the room.

The Turkish bath and pool make this location a hidden gem.

If the restaurant had Turkish choices, it would be great.

The ‘supervisor’ was the rudest human I have ever encountered. It was wild. She could not have been more terribly unhelpful and cold.

The front desk staff wasn’t terrifically friendly but the door people were very nice as were the housekeeping. The walls are a bit thin so not that quiet in the place where my room was. Probably better further down the hall.

The bed comfort, convenient location-close to metro, grand central station, view, room accommodations, pool, turkish bath, and staff recommendations.

Some employee attitude/assistance/attentiveness, broken bathroom and heater, cleanliness of room, linen, and dining area, no flex in check-in time, elevator, and hotel doors.
