Chelsea Inn

Absolutely quiet inside the hotel itself. Rooms are clean, spacious, has tv, workstation, chairs, windows with the access to open the window, clean bathrooms, comfy beds, decent AC. The area it’s located is very convenient, just less than miles away from the beach, pier 39, museums, japantown and palace of find arts.

THIS PART ISNT THE HOTELS FAULT. The only complaint is that it is extremely loud outside the hotel (NOT the hotels fault) we heard an altercation outside, cars being reckless (same cars were going around the block burning rubber), clubs and bars open late night with people screaming, yelling, (should already expect this). ANDDD there was also no microwave sadly, i couldn’t make my noodle cups.

Comfort of the beds and cleanness

Our bedroom is right by the side of a bar with really loud music nonstop from 1 pm to almost 3 in the morning. It's not easy to sleep.

Free parking in San Francisco was worth its weight in gold.

We had a King room. The bed was too firm and bouncy. If someone moved around, you can feel it. There was one thin blanket with a waffle design which could be felt if we kept the bedspread on top of us. Not sure why but the King room has no refrigerator. I was able to get one for $5/day. I’m not sure if other rooms had microwaves but our room didn’t. It seems that’s a given these days. There was one combo outlet/USB charging device for 2 USB A ports on one of the nightstands. USB C is now becoming the world standard. If you want to relax watching tv, don’t bother. The channel selection was abysmal. Also no options to mirror or cast.
