The view and location were wonderful

The host did not disclose an 18 page of ridiculous expectations until she got my non refundable deposit. The house was cluttered with personal things and miss matched dishes and towels. The extra room where I rented for my daughters was musty, had broken furniture, and no dressers for their clothes. The cost was way too much for the house. I was told to write a nice review so I could get my deposit back after I had waited weeks to get it. I was charged $100.00 for a broken divot. I did not break anything. The whole trip was stressful as she called me and texted multiple times to remind me of my responsibilities.. I had to water plants and empty 2 dehumidifiers twice a day and I was told she had sensors and I would be charged if I didn't do it. She texted me at 6:30am on my day of departure to leave a list of things I had to do before I left.

Nice lake views from main floor, deck and master bedroom. Adequate kitchen necessities and condiments. A comfortable King bed in master bedroom - though house is cluttered with owner's personal stuff.

The owner is unreasonable (I'm being nice.): Asked for a $2,000 damage deposit. Sent a 16-page rental agreement [AFTER the cancellation window closed!] which contained unreasonable limits on use and nonsensical up-charges of all sorts. Then threatened “extra cleaning” charges before leaving. Charged $46 for a broken mug.

Quite messy and cluttered.
