Hotel Garni Tiziana is a hidden gem, a lovely hide-away in Losone, away from the noise and traffic of Locarno and the crowds in Ascona. The spacious garden with large swimming pool was a perfect place to relax and swim, we stayed cool in the shade of the palm trees even with hot summer temperatures. A robot cleans the pool every day and the staff checks the water quality several times a day. Cleanliness is great everywhere in the hotel! Our room was quiet and the beds comfortable, the linens and towels (they even supply pool towels) are high-quality from the Swiss company Schwob AG. Breakfast is very good with fresh breads, croissants, homemade birchermuesli and jams, coldcuts and cheese. All staff members are smiling and friendly, we really felt at home here and even extended our stay! The close bus-stop (5 min walk) with free Ticino ticket during our whole stay was wonderful to go to Locarno and Ascona in the evenings.

The garden chaise lounges (wood) are heavy and guests are asked to get them and return them themselves.

Location was perfect. Staff was a 10. The fact of free private parking is a big plus.

The WiFi connection needs improvement. The continental breakfast is just sufficient and does not cater for special dietary needs.

Excellent breakfast and good location. It’s a good walk to Ascona. There is Coop nearby. Very convenient to get your supply

The service was great. We had a huge terrace, which was lovely, and the pool/garden area was really nice.

The breakfast was fine, but portions were quite small and not restocked very often.
