Hyatt Place Chapel Hill

Clean, quiet bed and pillows super comfortable. Staff super helpful; especially Hope

Nothing

The hotel was very nice, with only minor cosmetic issues that could be fixed, but overall, the fit and finish were great. The staff were always super polite and helpful. The location is rated 3/4 only because, while it is close to many attractions, it is situated in the middle of nowhere; you have to drive unless you are willing to walk along the state highway. The GPS directions from Booking.com did not bring me to the hotel, but rather behind it with no way to access the entrance, so I actually drove right past it the first time. Breakfast looked nice but was not that great overall; it is acceptable since it is included, but nothing to write home about, which I found a little surprising to be honest.

Honestly, I cannot complain about much besides the breakfast, which just wasn't good; for instance, I had a waffle that was toasted to a crisp, a hash brown that was only semi-crispy, and my wife didn't like the eggs at all. Bacon good as always. Fruit was fresh, no yogurt.

Location

The location was central and easy to access to the city. The staff was friendly.

The room carpets were very dirty and sticky. Additionally the HVAC internal unit was right in that room which was so noisy. So we couldn’t sleep well.
