Rooms need upgraded furniture. 4th floor stairwell door loud slam after use. Extended elevator malfunction. Early morning barking dogs.

Very very clean, staff was very courteous and professional!! The restaurants in the area are very nice especially Nadia’s, an authentic Mexican restaurant. The staff there were very cordial, sweet, and kind to both me and my wife!! Overall, and EXCELLENT stay for sure!!

Unfortunately power was lost due to a storm in the area - which is understandable. Even after restoring electricity we did not have air and the promised technician never showed up. So imagine during a heatwave how uncomfortable it was, sleep was impossible and we checked out as soon as we got up. I was very disappointed as this was a getaway to relax. Hello Betty restaurant was a treat and great to have in the hotel.

The location was absolutely FANTASTIC! The room was spacious and beds comfortable.

I didn't like the $50/DAY deposit and that the room had no microwave or fridge. Also, there was only 4 channels on the TV. A microwave, fridge and cable TV should have been a minimum for the cost

This is a very nice facility with large, clean rooms and friendly staff in the center of the North Bethesda setting.

In fairness to the facility, I did not take my problem to the staff for them to address it. That being said, I arrived at the Canopy after already working and driving for over 12 hours. The room was at 78 degrees upon my opening the door, so I set the thermostat to the desired lower temp, unpacked my things and went out to find a bite to eat. Upon returning to the room, it had not cooled, at all. I repeated my attempts to set the t-stat to a lower temp, which indicated that the desired temp had been held all along. I took a shower while waiting for the cooler temp, but it never came. By this time, it was almost 10pm and I was exhausted and did not want to change rooms or wait for 'service' to fix the A/C. I fell asleep, but did not sleep well or get much rest in an uncomfortably warm room / bed. To reiterate and to be fair to the facility, I did NOT take this problem to them for a solution - I was simply too tired and did not want the hassle late at night.
