Staff is always very nice. Breakfast bar has choices for the healthy traveler and has great selections. The fitness center is wonderful.

Honestly it was just convenient for my one night trip.

First coming into the room it had a weird smell like throw up and food - I went down to the front desk and let them know, they said they would take care of it, I came back an hour later and the lady at the front said she didn't remember my room number bc she got side-tracked so my room wasn't cleaned - instead she gave me a spray to make the room smell better which did NOTHING and honestly made me mad bc that just meant the room was never cleaned properly and the staff didn't even care to at least move my room or send cleaning staff up to investigate. Needless to say communication with staff was horrible from the start. Later that night while out in St.Pete for dinner I was celebrating with friends when I had a panic attack - I'm prior military and I have PTSD. There are times when I don't necessarily need my service dog so I didn't bring him b/c I thought I would be ok for a night. But after my panic attack my friend drove to get my dog and bring him to me b/c I couldn't even sleep at 3am in the morning - I was aware there would maybe be some kind of dog fee which I was fine with but they charged me $125 dog cleaning fee, My dog again is a SERVICE DOG - he slept on a blanket from home that makes sure dog hairs don't go on anything..plus he doesn't move bc he's close to me the whole night to calm my anxiety. There was nothing to be cleaned PERIOD. my dog got to me at 4am in the morning and we checked out at 1030am that same morning. So to be charged an outrageous $125 cleaning fee for nothing is the reason I would not recommend this hotel on top of the cleanliness not being up to par and it not being pet friendly as well as communication with staff being horrible. They didn't even let me know when I checked out that they would be charging me that crazy fee. I expected maybe $50 - $75 dollars not $125 for a small service dog. If I knew I would've just went home to my dog.
