Great location - on the quieter end of Karl Johan Gate, across from the park. Breakfast was excellent. Taxi access great if required. Staff, with the exception of my initial check in, were friendly and helpful.
The interaction at initial check in was a bit condescending. Unfortunately, that was a first impression. However, all subsequent staff interactions from breakfast, to cleaning and front desk staff were first rate.

Great location and excellent breakfast.
Our room 214 was awkwardly laid out. It also faced the inner part of the building and since it was on the 2nd floor, it was very dark. The breakfast room was also on this floor, so it was very heavily trafficked. For some strange reason all of the places we’ve stayed so far on this trip in Stockholm and London have been on very low floors. I’m wondering if they give the less desirable rooms to tourists.
