The room was perfect, the staff were helpful and friendly and there are a range of facilities, pool, gym, spa, but as we were there in the middle of December we could not make use of the pool! The breakfast was excellent as was lunch and dinner. The location is good with an easy walk to the Farol at Ponta de Piedade from the hotel and a harder one to Luz. Just a short drive into Lagos. The hotel has impressive and well-maintained gardens. We will be back!!

Room was gorgeous & relaxing atmosphere. Stunning views & gardens. Shame weather was rainy as super areas to chill & sunbathe. Lovely happy greeting from Paulo on arrival. Great Breakfast with gluten free options. Definitely will re-visit.

The view is breathtaking! The gardens of the hotel are really nice and relaxing.

We were told that we get a sea view room. However, this hotel has only partial sea view rooms available. We were lied to during booking. The facilities are outdated. Even new furniture looks already old fashioned. The person responsible for the design must have an awful taste. There average age in hotel is 50+ and everything is catered towards that target audience. Overall the Hotel is way overpriced. Maybe 150 EUR a Night would be ok. However, charging 5 star prices for this place is not justified.

Loved absolutely everything about this small boutique hotel! Cliff edge views, world class service (take a bow Romeo!) Michelin star food, great selection of wines, clean, comfortable p, just 3k from Lagos town if you drag yourself away, definitely in our Top 3 stays!

The property has lovely views! Clean and well maintained. Staff are lovely and attentive. The room I had was huge and comfortable. It’s not in the town centre but I found the walk (30mins) quite pleasant.

Amazing gem of a property, rooms are fantastic and spacious! Views of the ocean and sunset are incredible.

The property has a fantastic view and beautiful gardens. Nice restaurant view and good breakfast. Nice pool area and very useful loan of beach basket and towels. Good shower in room.

Some staff in restaurant could be more professional in manner. Rooms decor a little outdated.

From the moment we arrived we were wowed with this hotel. The welcome was generous and warm, the staff were attentive and the surroundings were everything you'd expect from a boutique hotel. The food was wonderful, and the Monkey Bar had a wide selection of drinks. I also enjoyed a few spa treatments which were carried out in a wonderfully relaxing space by excellent therapists - amongst the best massages I've ever had!

Beautiful views of the ocean, very comfortable and great facilities. The restaurant was great also; breakfast options were good, and we'd a lovely dinner during our stay. We'd definitely return

It was a bit far from town, though we had a great (hilly) walk in - to the lighthouse first, and then into town. All up, that walk took about 1h15mins, including time to admire the views. Taxis for our other journeys were cheap and prompt.

Great location, and very good food.

The pool wasn't working during our stay. The spa wasn't available during our stay. Hotel was clearly short-staffed and wait times for breakfast to be served was much higher than normal. No pool and no spa made for an unexpected type of stay as those are two of the main features advertised on the site.

We used the spa and had massages which was brilliant. The whole experience was fantastic.

We couldn't fault the place.

The location is stunning. The views are amazing , the gardens are beautiful, the interior design is very modern and luxurious. The rooms were huge and we got an upgrade for our honeymoon, they also gave us champagne and petals on the bed on our first night. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is a beautiful unique hotel.

The breakfast was strange. Everything came on individual plates and we were presented with the same small menu everyday. I would have liked more selection and the ability to go to a buffet and choose or to just have more variety on the menu. The restaurant had the same menu every night and was very expensive. This was fine for one night but not any more . A snack menu in the day would have been nice too.

Gorgeous views, property and spa. Certain staff members were really accommodating and memorable - Nelson at the front desk really took care of my every need!!

Like much of the world right now, they were a little short staffed at the restaurant, so breakfast and dinner took a while. Hope they are able to hire a few more servers - would make it a perfect stay!
