Lovely hotel. The staff was friendly and the location was great!

It was a wonderful location in the historic district. Very walkable to the Basilica and archeological museum, which was fascinating. The hotel itself was beautiful with a long and interesting history.

The hotel was in a great location and was clean. The staff at reception and check in were very friendly.

The hotel had no bar - looked like it used to have one but it was just an empty room with the light sockets ripped out. The staff in the restuarant were not attentive at all - I had to get up and go to get the guy (Julian) to order something, Breakfast was ok - unless you came along later when most things had run out and were not replaced - although at least the staff at breakfast were caring and helpful. Not much of an ambience to the place which was also not helped by the acoustics... any noise was amplified - woken up by people moving up/down stairs as it echo'd, in the restaurant it was difficult to hear anything other than the general noise of everyone.
