Very friendly staff when we arrived late. The room was super neat and clean. Loved the history behind the hotel. Highly recommend. I would like to be back very soon.
We didn't get to stay long enough.

Beautiful old building loved the corridors and furnishings
Our room was generous in size, good colour scheme
King g size bed comfy
Staff were very friendly
Needs the renovation which is happening, though not much noise experienced
Wasn't told till after booking
Our shower leaked terribly which we used our towels to mop up, vanity sink blocked up and the plug system wouldn't hold the water
I told the staff, but due to renovations they couldn't move us!
The beds didn't have donnas just woolen blankets
The external building g had no kept gardens, but ample parking

Lack of a restaurant

It was nice but the restaurant was closed and when I booked I specifically wanted breakfast and a meal, but after I booked I was told it was under renovation. A great disappointment.
That my friend got locked out of her room twice.
