Excellent location for going to the beach and exploring the town. The owners are very kind and give lots of good advice about making the most of your time in Lagos. Rooms are basic but very clean and quiet at night.

It was a great stay, fantastic value for money place. Ana and Luis were great hosts, and made everything they could to support us and give good Lagos recommendations. Cozy and familiar environment, in a very central location. Public parking is near by Rooms are clean and confortable

Wonderful breakfast with lovely host Ana

I had the most wonderful stay at Casa Luma. Ana and Luis are the sweetest and such genuine hosts who make you feel so welcomed. Every morning they prepare a truly delicious breakfast with fresh fruits and bread (and warm pastel de natas!). The building is beautifully decorated with a cute terrace. The rooms are simple but so clean and cozy. The single room with the small walk way and window that looks out into the dining area, feels like a little beach house especially in the evening with the breeze coming in. The location is perfect- cafes and restaurants within walking distance of every direction but quiet and peaceful at night. This was one of my nicest hotel stays!

This was our favorite accomodation during our Portugal trip. Ana and Luis are so sweet and helpful and Joaquin makes the best coffees and orange juices! The rooms are very neat and clean and have AC. Also the location is perfect! 10/10

Case luma was a great B&B! The location was amazing, the hosts were welcoming and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. The room was private and clean and the house was in a great central location. We would recommend to all travellers!

This was the best B&B experience we have ever had! The hosts, Ana and Luis are exceptionally welcoming, making you feel like home. The place is gorgeous, clean and safe. It is close to the center but not on a noisy street. The beds were comfy. Breakfast was tasty, healthy and vegan friendly. We definitely recommend a stay and will come again :)

It was so well located that we were kept awake all night by drunks singing as the walked past (with a brief pause between 03:00-06:30). This was a Saturday night in March.

Casa Luma is the place to stay in Lagos. The rooms are simple and well designed - internet works well and it has everything you need to be comfortable - including access to a large kitchen. I can't really imagine a better place to stay in the city - the location is great and it was very quiet and restful at night. Check-in friendly and helpful. If you stay here, I highly recommend having the dinner at the nearby Casinha do Petisco - go early when they open to put your name on the list. The cataplana is an experience! Travia, a natural wine bar, a couple of blocks away is an incredibly cozy and stylish place to grab some seriously good glasses of wine.

I loved my stay at Casa Luma - check-in was straightforward (sent a message to the owners) and my room was absolutely clean and spacious. I was also able to work remotely using a wifi-extended at the location. I also really appreciated the stocked kitchen, open-space patio, and weekend breakfast prepared by the owners. The location was also extremely convenient (walked from the train station) and could easily walk to all of the major walks, hikes, and beaches in Lagos!

great location. Luis was fantastic in getting us in to the guest house. He gave us great recommendations on restaurants. The wine bar was superb. There are no frills so if you are looking for clean, comfortable and good location stay in lagos you should stay here.

the water in the tap was not clean. we had to run it for sometime and then it was clear.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Luma. Our hosts were incredibly kind, responsive and helpful! The location was perfectly central and easy (2-5min) to get to all the main shops, restaurants, bars, and even a surfing beach (not far, 20min walk) in Lagos. Parking very close, wonderful breakfast on the Saturday morning.

Exceptional hosts and housekeeping. The location is perfect for all the things I want to do (nature walks, landscape, and local exploration) as is the decor — simple with Algarve vibe. The property is spotless, too! One of my favorite stays in Portugal.
