Hotel Rural Almazara

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Hotel Rural Almazara with a group of 10 good friends. The hotel itself is very nice, with a cozy and charming interior and a lovely atmosphere. If you are looking for a peaceful place that is still close to both the coast and the mountains, this is a perfect location. The hotel is situated between Nerja and Frigiliana, with beautiful surroundings. It takes around 30–40 minutes to walk downhill to Nerja or uphill to Frigiliana. Alternatively, you can easily take a taxi or Uber, which costs around €8 one way. The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We also really enjoyed the food. We chose the half-board option, including breakfast and dinner, and were very happy with it. Dinner consists of three courses, with around 6–7 different options to choose from for each course, so there was plenty of variety. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily come back. A lovely place for a relaxing holiday with friends or family.

Ottima e comoda posizione sulla strada di scorrimento leggermente in collina che divide Nerja e Frigiliana . Camere vista sulla baia di Nerja, piscina e parcheggio gratuita. Una SPA su richiesta a pagamento. Colazione discreta.

Qualche dettaglio della camera da ammodernare, ammodernamento del bagno e del condizionatore. Un leggero odore di scarico forse dovuto agli impianti vetusti.

The views from the room was amazing and breakfast was exceptional - reccommend everyone to take breakfast here. Also it is relatively close to the centre, about 3 minutes by car

Parking space is limited and the approach might be scary for some people who are not comfortable with driving their car up steep and narrow road.

Location view was good. Breakfast was okay.

No air conditioning so had to open door in the night to stay cool, but noise from traffic on nearby road meant sleep was a bit disturbed. There was no facilities to make drink in the room. And we needed hot water of medical reasons but there was no kettle. Staff were not very keen to help us.
