The location of the property is incredible. It is well-designed and the breakfast is especially good. The staff generally were very helpful and the service was strong throughout.

I think a few small things were unfortunate. When you are staying at a place like this, in this bracket, you really should not have to wait for a place by the pool — that reflects poor planning around guest numbers and chairs/beds. I also think the pool should open earlier than 9am as morning swimmers then have to choose between breakfast or the pool, and likewise it should stay open after 7pm. From basically 6pm the staff are making it clear it’s time to go, which is before sunset. Don’t get me wrong - I loved the hotel and would recommend it. I just thought these things were unnecessary at a hotel operating at this level. Lastly, the concierge kept pushing the hotel car service for local dinners which is fine but charging 110 Euros for a 5 minute trip to a local restaurant is again unnecessary and comes across as though the hotel is looking for ways to just increase the margins. I found a car from Milan airport to the hotel for 160 euros so why charge 110 euros for a 5 minute local trip? These are just a few observations.

The best things about this hotel I would say are the staff and the level of service, their politeness and professionalism is outstanding. Second is the property itself and the level of design of the interiors, the landscape and the amazing floating infinity pool. The rooms are huge, the breakfast and the food is amazing, the property itself is larger than most of the five star hotels in Como. I can't say enough good things about it. Again I say the most important thing in an ultra lux hotel is the staff and how they treat you and in this hotel the staff are exceptional, they try their best to make your stay a great one. The Manager of the the Restaurant Fabio was amazing as wells, the Ladies at the breakfast service, the concierge, the check in and reception team. and the captain of our boat tour Alberto was relaxed, informed and friendly and made our 3 hour boat tour the highlight of our trip . It's one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.
