The food was gourmet quality with a good variety to choose from. Portions were very generous. The chef, waiter and other staff were very friendly and helpful. The rondavel is very spacious, clean, and well equipped. Didn't miss a TV at all. Enjoyed the tranquility, well maintained surroundings and the benches everywhere with different views. We left relaxed and rejuvenated. Will definitely visit again, for even longer.
My friend complained about the mattrass that was a bit hard for her. It was fine for me. I missed a walking trail on the property itself, but the rainy weather prevented long walks anyway.

The staff was very friendly and very polite. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff members.
Food service is rather slow.
We enjoyed each and every meal prepared and the attention to detail was out standing but sometimes the wait got a bit too long.

The host looked after us very well. The room was nice and cozy. Location is peaceful. The lodge is beautiful.
The food was a bit dry and the heaters could have been put out in the morning with breakfast as it was very chilly.
