The swimming pool was large and clean with suitable shade and seating. Unfortunately, the pool and garden was separated from the house by a public unmade track which was used by the owners and other people.
The house was in a peaceful environment though not private as people visiting the owners living in the lower level of the house parked at the poolside and walked past the front door of the rented house.
Misled by the description ie: a detached villa and 'the entire place is yours'. In reality, the noisy owners live in the lower level of the rental house accessed from a short staircase in our hallway. We were sharing the same house with a glass door separating the downstairs level. The house is NOT PRIVATE and is also attached to other buildings around a central courtyard which are also used by the owners. Complaints about privacy were ignored though I had requested confirmation from Geco Rentals about privacy of the house, garden and pool before booking.
